Stump Grinding and Removal
Complete stump removal below grade, leaving your property site-ready with no remnant root hazards.
After a tree is removed, the stumps left behind can be unsightly eyesores that need to be dealt with. They may also be connected to running roots, causing frustration throughout your landscape. Removing stumps reduces insect activity, prevents unwanted growth, and creates space for future landscaping.
If you have an unsightly stump on your property, we are here to help. Stump grinding is the most effective way to complete the tree removal process. Our trained team members can safely use our top-of-the-line equipment to remove your stump and exposed roots. However, keep in mind that once a stump is removed, you won’t be able to plant another tree in that same spot.

Our stump grinder is 35 inches wide and 7 feet long, with a 10” wide grinding wheel located at the front of the machine. The wheel is serrated and fitted with metal teeth, spinning and working from the top of the stump down to 4-6” below grade. After grinding, a mulch pile will remain, often 20-30% larger than the original stump. This mulch can be left on site to backfill the depression left from the stump removal. Any excess mulch can be used in surrounding landscaping. Alternatively, we can haul it away for an additional fee.
In some cases, stumps may be located where grinding is impossible. If that’s the case, our Certified Arborists can discuss alternative removal methods.
