With over 30 years of experience in the Brenham, TX area, our certified arborists are dedicated to diagnosing tree health issues and delivering customized solutions that enhance the health and beauty of your landscape. After a career as a completions engineer in the oil and gas industry, I stepped away in the fall of 2018, initially planning to return. However, it soon became clear that a new path awaited me. After some exploration, I founded Sendero Technical Services in early 2019 as a farm/ranch and home services business. By late 2019, as the business was growing with a small team, a friend approached me about a local business for sale. Following careful consideration, I decided to acquire Roger’s Tree Service, a well-established business in Brenham, TX, that had been serving the community for 25 years.
Despite having no prior experience in the tree care industry, I dove in headfirst, studying everything I could find and seeking guidance from a friend who is a board certified master arborist. Over the years, I’ve gained valuable knowledge through hands-on experience, consultations, training programs, and professional affiliations. I became an ISA certified arborist in early 2024.
In the past five years, the business has tripled in size, while maintaining the strong relationships Roger’s Tree Service built over its 25-year history, and expanding to serve many new clients. Now, we’re excited to launch the tree care division as a standalone entity under the Sendero Technical Services umbrella— in late 2024 we introduced Sendero Arbor Care.

Local, certified arborists are knowledgeable about trees, soil types, and various environmental stressors in your area. Preventive care and management of diseases and insects in trees require an understanding of trees and the stressors that affect them. Experience in accurately targeting pests and pathogens is vital. Local ISA Certified Arborists know tree biology and treatment protocols to provide the highest level of tree health care. Tree care is like human medical care, tree health care is a long-term, holistic process that addresses treatable issues and environmental stressors. Improving soil quality and nutrient availability is, in most cases, the best way to enhance the overall health of trees. ISA Certified Arborists can diagnose specific nutrient deficiencies, moisture issues, diseases, fungi, and pests that may be affecting your trees and can create customized tree health care plans.
